Evaluations

Once you have selected your membership program, we'll schedule an appointment at your convenience day or night. We do a thorough *EVALUATION (similar to a home inspection) only we identify an estimated cost and a timeline of urgency to repair. We recommend that you be available for 3-4 hours that day, so you can observe, ask questions, and see what we’re looking for. **This evaluation is based on an average size home with a maximum living space of up to 3000 sq. ft.

Within two weeks, you’ll receive your results along with a list of concerns ranging from:

Urgent/High Priority	(recommended repair within 30 to 60 days)
Suggested/Med Priority	(recommended repair within 2 to 6 months)
Planning/Low Priority	(recommended repair within 7 months to a year)
Developing/Wish List	(recommended planning…for future projects, new roof, heating system, new deck or landscape construction, etc…)

The urgent/high priority problems are provided with an actual cost for repair. Upon your request, the estimated costs of the following priorities; Med, Low, Wish List, will be provided with a written quote, so you can plan and budget. No more surprising $5,000 roof repairs or shocking water leaks from rusty pipes in the basement. Our goal is to attempt to catch as many problems possible before they happen and to avoid costly repairs you’re not prepared for. Keep in mind that you’re not obligated to do any of the items brought to your attention. The whole concept is to identify any problems for you to decide which ones you need or want to fix first.

*This Evaluation is specifically designed to present simply an itemized list of concerns about the overall condition of your home, along with a cost to perform any repairs or upgrades sought after. Blue Chip Corp. is NOT a licensed OR certified home inspection agency. however, along with the owner, we employ workers with their Mass. Construction Supervisor License. Only those licensed members of the staff perform these evaluations and are proficient in detecting problem areas around an entire home.

**If the home exceeds 3000 square feet, a charge of $10 for every additional 100 square feet will be applied to the subscription fee for the annual evaluation only.
